Up for consideration is a fine pair of French Directoire Style lamps from the
late 1940's or early 60's. They have their original old Glass Light diffusers.
This is a time when the light was cast upwards illuminating rooms such that from
the side one no longer had eye contact with menacing high powered bulb...hence
the glass would diffuse the intensity. This was also before brass harps were
used to hold shades...during this era silk shades had a cross member on the top
of the shade of which the finial was attached and the shade merely rested on the
glass diffuser. This really brought people out of the old Radio days of dark
ambient lighting...while listing to the Radio ...it was TV time...Although you
see contemporary light as such these are old.. If you have any questions or
something to share please message me. Buyer pays shipping. These comes from a
clean nonsmokers estate. Please see photos as part of the description. If you

We are celebrating 25 years of commerce here on eBay thanks again...please
be safe out there.
Warmest Regards,
