Vtg Carved Wood Relief Panel Fish Folk Art Sculpture Peterson era 10.75 x18.5

Up for consideration is an unusual carved relief wood sculptured plaque of a Bass breaking water in it's natural habitat. It measures 10.75 by 18.5 inches and is signed in pencil on the back "Love you Sis Thanks Michael" The piece is carved out of a solid piece of wood and shows a standing hollowed tree on the left with a few painted trees in the background. When you turn and view from a slight angle you can the see the work the artist put into this...and for the most part it is well done...It was purchased here in Michigan and was a vintage items whend purchased but the previous owner in the early 90's. Perhaps the carver is Michael...or it was purchased as a gift. My guess it was carved by Michael...many artist don't sign their works when gifting to close family as it is redundant...and shows a sense of humility.
