Vtg Folk Art Carved Cedar Wood Whale /Fish Sculpture Weathervane form 39" signed

Up for consideration is an old Folk Art Cedar Carved Whale or Fish Sculpture in the form of an old Weathervane...the Whale/ Fish itself measures 28 inches in length with overall dimensions being about 32 inches at the base with a width of 14 inches...with the animal following the wood design...it is monagrammed JK or TVK you decide...The piece is mounted by a chrome rod with copper insert in the whale. As it is made of Cedar and has a copper insert chances are the artist may have intended the piece to possibly be used outside or made others without a base to be used outside...just a thought...The bottom is made of a piece of painted drift wood mounted on a rock with cork bottom for protection.
