Vtg Native American Portrait Oil Lucille Carter Pastel Painting Illustration

up for consideration is an outstanding and colorful portrait of a young Native American in traditional clothing by noted artist Lucille Carter. The work of art measures 16 X 20 inches excluding the frame. The work of art has been  framed and behind glass for decades. It is signed in the middle center "Carter". Please see photos.  Purchased from private collection in Michigan and possibly from the late 70's to the mid to late 80's/  Appears to be a Pastel on Artist Paper however it may be mixed media nonetheless a work of Art done by Carter.  Biography as per her website...According to biographical information online Lucille Carter has a history of working as an illustrative artist in fashion and furniture.
