up for consideration is an outstanding and colorful portrait of a young Native American in traditional clothing by noted artist Lucille Carter. The work of art measures 16 X 20 inches excluding the frame. The work of art has been framed and behind glass for decades. It is signed in the middle center "Carter". Please see photos. Purchased from private collection in Michigan and possibly from the late 70's to the mid to late 80's/ Appears to be a Pastel on Artist Paper however it may be mixed media nonetheless a work of Art done by Carter.

Carter is an associate member of Oil Painters of America and the Portrait Society of America. She is an award-winning, signature member of Associated Creative Artists, a signature member and President of the Pastel Society of the Southwest, and a signature member of the Pastel Society of America.
