Vtg orig Illustration 68 GTO 4 speed Detroit Muscle car painting Ad Art 5 /40

Up for consideration is a very rare early automotive illustrative painting insert centerfold advertising the racing/sport muscle car options for the 1968? Pontiac Lemans GTO... . The advertisement makes reference to the sporty console 4 speed shifter and beefy 350 or 400 w Ram air (maybe). The work of art itself is mounted on artist board and measures 16 inches by 11 inches. It looks laid out to be a centerfold or center inserts. With overall dimensions being about 15 by 20 inches. This is the type of work that was used when pitching visual layout of the ad to General Motors execs for approval. These were more or less the equivalent to a working sketch.. The final advertisements were everywhere!!! These ads were placed in magazines brochures etc... all over North America which includes Canada...  Please understand this is a work that is done by hand by one of the firms here in Detroit in the mid 1960's. It is unsigned...provenance to be revealled to buyer...It was Purchased from the estate of an original Detroit illustrator who was active at that time and hoarded other works prior to his efforts and after.   Please understand I have about 40 pieces to present.
