Vtg orig Illustration Painting Caprice Impala Detroit Ad Art estate Chevy 21/40

Up for consideration is a Detroit original vintage illustrative Art mixed media gouache painting for an advertising campaign for a 1968 Chevy Impala or Caprice. I repeat this is a hand painted work of art not a print or copy that was done probably 1966 to prepare for upcoming release in 1967 . The overall dimensions are about 11 by 15 inches with the art being 8.75 by 12.75 inches. Purchased from the estate of an original Detroit illustrator. Working by hand these firms put many many sketches in rough to pitch to the execs at Chevrolet...to focus in and narrow down the pathway to success...for brochures magazine ads...sales catalogues, posters press releases and promo stuff in general..
