Up for consideration is a wonderful old pair of Hekman painted and caned Chinese Chippendale Faux Bamboo Chinoisere style armchairs in lovely lightly used condition. These chairs are structurally sound with good updated caning wonderfully tastefull Chinoiserie style upholstery in a light mint green faded paint with lightly gilt embellishments. They stand about 36.5 inches in height with a seat height including the cushions around 20 inches but is really like 18 inches with a width or 23 inches and a depth of 20 inches. THey sport their original Hekman tags. They really have the look and have some character...with light honest wear and mildly faded paint. A much more appealing pair than the sterile freshly painted white coloration that is so often seen. So if the color works style and condition work then keep these in mind. These are a little over the standard size for shipping and are classified as oversized of which a balloon weight kicks adding an additional 80+ dollars so we can ship them it just costs a little more.
