Tovrea Castle in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, is a three-tiered wedding cake-style structure built in 1930 by Alessio Carraro as part of an ambitious hotel development that was never completed. Set atop a saguaro-studded hill in east Phoenix, the castle was later purchased by Edward Tovrea and remained a private residence until 1993, when the city of Phoenix acquired it as a historic landmark.
