40cm Djembe Drum ~ hand painted hardwood drum with leather skin

This is a lovely item, hand carved from a single piece of richly-grained hardwood, for a truly rich sound. The drum head follows tradition by being made from stretched animal hide (goat). Before being tuned, the wood has been intricately spot painted by the world famous wood carvers of Mas in Bali. Whether used as a musical instrument (as intended!) or merely as a decorative item, This is a beautiful and skillfully crafted instrument, which would make a fantastic gift - particularly for yourself! This Djembe drum has been made specifically for us on a Fair-Trade basis. It is hand made, and each one is unique. There will be variations from the images used above
