2 Vintage Modernist Artisan Stainless Steel Cheese Knives hand wrought

2, vintage Modernist, artisan-designed, hand wrought, stainless steel Cheese Knives, one spreader and one slicer with prongs. These unusual pair of knives are slightly heavy but balanced in the hand. The spreader, by Gourmet Settings is from its "Silver Tear" line, measures 8 3/8" long and 7/8" wide at its widest point on the blade. Twisted stainless steel handle and knob end. The other knife with a cutting blade and prongs for hard cheese, has a sculptural handle of wrought stainless steel with 2 loose stainless balls in a 3 sided "cage". This unmarked knife also has a 3 pronged end to allow the knife to stand upright when not in use or to keep the blade from leaning on itself in the other positions. This knife measures 8 1/4" long and 1 3/8" wide. A stunning set for a charcuterie plate and cocktails or for an interesting cheese course.
