Antique, 19th Century, lemon gold gilt Picture Frame with intricate gesso designed outside border. This frame measures 18" (45.5cm) wide by 21" (53.2cm) high and 2" (10cm) deep on the outside and accommodates a picture or glass measuring 14 1/8" (35.7cm) by 17 1/8" (43.3cm) with a 1/4" (5mm) deep rabbet. This antique frame is structurally solid but shows wear/ patina on its outside finishes related to its age and environmental factors - please see the photos for details. A nice frame for a painting, print with glass or as a stunning mirror.
