Antique Gold Leaf white baroque ornate carved Wood Picture Frame

Antique, carved and gessoed wood, baroque-style picture frame with gold leaf and white wash finish. This frame measures 13 5/8" (34.6 cm) wide and 11 5/8" (29.6 cm) high and 1 1/8" (2.9 cm) deep on the outside. It measures 10 1/16" (25.6 cm) by 12 1/16" (30.7 cm) with a 1/4" (7 mm) rabbet so it will fit artwork measuring 10" (25.4 cm) by 12" (30.5 cm) maximum. The moulding itself is 1 1/8"(2.9 cm) wide at its widest points in the corners and along the sides where the carved decorative motif with leaves and flowers are located. The frame is in found condition and has not been restored. Note there is a chip on one the edge of one side which, due to the ornate details, is difficult to see - see photos for details, otherwise this frame is in good and clean condition. A charming frame for a mirror, matted photo or painting and sized well for a gallery wall.
