Art Nouveau Brass Photo Frame with Convex Glass

Vintage, Art Nouveau, ornate cast brass Photo Frame with convex glass, original french mat and easel back. Nice moulding detail and embellished with garlands of roses and leaves on the corners. Back and easel stand are paperboard covered with leather with an integrated metal hanging loop. This charming frame measures 5 5/8" tall, 3 11/16" wide and 1/2" deep (with easel back folded in) in outside dimensions. The inside dimensions of the frame are 5 1/8" by 3 1/4" and the opening for a picture when the mat is included is 3 5/8" high by 2 1/2" wide. In good condition, via patina and wear commensurate with age, missing one metal tab in the back and a slight crease in the easel back. Stands and shows well - see photos for details. A lovely frame that adds a little vintage touch to any vignette or collection of photos of special people, places or events. Match it with a sepia print of your favorite person for a full vintage effect!
