Art Nouveau Floral Butter Knife 1835 R Wallace Monogram M Silver Plate

Vintage, Art Nouveau Floral motif, silver plate Butter Knife by 1835 R Wallace with Monogram M (or W?). There are 5 of these available at the time of the initial listing. The knife measures 6" long, 3/4" wide and 1/16" thick, giving it a nice hand. The floral motif includes a poppy at the center surrounded by leaves and a lotus-like blossom at the top over the monogram panel and another open lily and iris with vines and leaves that reach down to the top of the knife blade. Leaf and vine decorations continue on the back side of the handle as well. In very good vintage condition with some patina and minor wear - see photos for details. Lovely knives with wonderful Art Nouveau detailing for a dinner service or to use for an elegant charcuterie platter when serving cocktails.
