Art Nouveau Table Brush & Crumb Pan

Antique, Art Nouveau, brass repousse Table Brush & Crumb Pan Set. This lovely and useful serving accessory was made in the early 1900s in Germany to keep a dining table tidy between dinner courses by efficiently collecting crumbs and other debris that strayed on the table cloth from diners during eating. The brush measures 12" (30.3 cm) long, 2 1/2" (6.3 cm) wide, taking into account the curve of the handle and 1 1/4" (3.1 cm), when measuring just the handle itself. Includes hanging ring on the brush and a hole at the top of the pan for hanging. A beautiful set to accompany a wonderful dinner experience or would make a lovely addition to a fancy closet, office area or kitchen as a dustpan and brush set.
