Cast Brass Art Deco Owl Figurine Bookends

Vintage, heavy cast brass, Art Deco-style Owl bookends. This stunning pair of Art Deco Revival figures measure are 8" high and 3.5" deep and weigh 3 lbs 8 oz. each. The casting is nicely done to include specific detail around the sharp eyes and in the feathered wings and backs of these birds. The set is in very good condition with patina appropriate to age and corresponding wear. A little rattle inside when shaken. Bottoms are covered in new black velveteen to protect the shelf or desk where these owls sit. A statement set ready to bring Art Deco / Art & Crafts flair to a contemporary space.
