Danish modern Lundtofte stainless steel and wood Egg Cups Schnapps

Set of 6, vintage 1960s, Danish modern stainless steel and wood egg cups by DFK Lundtofte. These outstanding mid century modern style egg cups measure 2" (5.2cm) high and 1 3/4" (4.5cm) in diameter at the top. Marked "MADE IN DENMARK" embossed on the bottom of each dark wood base, a combination which was typical for designs by Eric Herlow or Ione Sachs for Lundtofte. Lundtofte pieces are known for their high quality construction, design and materials and had much of their tabletop pieces designed by outstanding Scandinavian designers of the time: Herlow, Ione Sachs, Tias Eckhoff and others who also designed for Georg Jensen. In excellent condition, showing minimal use. Clean and ready to enjoy with boiled eggs or suitable as shot or schnapps glasses.
