Eucalyptus Stoneware Oval Ceramic Basket in Orange

Vintage, Eucalyptus Stoneware oval ceramic basket in apricot/orange color. This handmade bread/ fruit bowl comes in a 9" by 7" oval and is 3 1/2" high. These baskets have a lead-free double glaze that allows them to be warmed at 350 degrees (for 15 minutes) and will keep baked goods warm for 15-20 minutes. Top rack dishwasher safe and oven proof. The ventilation created by the open lattice-work on the baskets also makes the basket perfect for fruit storage. Originally made at the Eucalyptus Stoneware operation in Del Mar, CA which closed in 2014, after 40 years in business. These famous baskets were made in 16 different colors and various shapes and could be purchased from a variety of retailers from Williams Sonoma to Longaberger, Villeroy & Boch, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and more.
