Florentine Leather Wrapped Gold Embossed Obelisk

Vintage 1980s, Maitland Smith style, Florentine leather wrapped Obelisk with gold embossed trims and stained wood ball details. Made with dark brown mottled leather with a glossy finish over a solid wood base. Embossed edging hand stamped with gold. Bottom is covered with red velveteen. This elegant accent piece measures 15” high and 4” square at its base. In very good condition with little wear despite it’s age (see photos for details). A classically styled, handsome accent piece for a desk or shelf in a home office, library or living room or to add to a vignette in a console or bookshelf.
