Vintage, 1970s, genuine Malachite Box with lid and Art Deco style handle. This small but very heavy box measures 3 1/4" (8.2cm) wide by 2 1/2" (6.2cm) deep and 1 1/2" (3.7cm) high and weighs over 13 oz ( 390g ). Beautifully hand crafted to highlight the intricacies of the swirled patterns of color typical of the mineral. Inset corners on inside of lid to keep a centered fit. Unmarked.
