Italian Anthropomorphic Bananas Fruit Lady Ceramic Jar Set

Set of 3, vintage 1980s, anthropomorphic Banana bunch Lady Ceramic Jars made by Italian ceramic producer Vietri for Neiman Marcus. These adorable hand painted jars have handled lids formed by banana leaf-capped heads. Leaves also form shoulders for these lovely ladies. These jars measure 6 3/4" high with the lids on and are 4 1/2" wide and 4" deep. Nieman Marcus was known for its custom decor pieces at a time when high end hand painted decorative ceramics were appearing more often in homes across the country. This tropically themed set of cute banana bunches are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or breaks inside or out. An adorable set to add wit to a kitchen or as decor for a tropically or tiki themed party!
