Pair of antique, salvaged Victorian Cast Iron shelf Brackets with old patina'ed painted surface that is rusty and crusty/. These brackets with a scrolling design have small raised edges at the ends which keep the shelf material - wood, glass, metal or stone - securely in place without hardware. Brackets both have "105" in the casting at the top corner, probably a pattern number. The brackets measure 8" high, 7 1/4" deep and 2" wide (at the widest points where the screw holes are to secure the bracket to the wall. The brackets take shelf material up to 7" deep. Sold without wall screws or fasteners. Overall in good condition, worn surfaces and rust apparent but the surfaces are not crumbling to the touch. Clean, without any restoration. A charming set to add a rustic, antique feel to any setting, indoors or out.
