Pair of heavy, vintage Italian, Rococo-style, 2 candle, cast brass wall
sconces with 2-part Italian cut teardrop crystals. These polished and matte brass sconces have been carefully made with high resolution detailing in the cast sections. Each sconce has a screwed in triangular brass hanging hook on the top rear and weighs 2 lbs 3oz., requiring a secure hook or screw for hanging on a wall. Each of the sconces measure 12" high, 10 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" deep (to the tip of the candle bobeches or candle rings). The candle sockets measure 7/8" across to fit standard taper or dinner candles. Each bobeche has 6 "petals" that form a flange around the candle socket. At the end of each of these "petals" is a hole from which hangs a 2-part, Italian cut (with a large flat long 6-sided facet in the center of the front of the teardrop and a center point of the facets on the back) crystal made of a 5/8" wide octagon crystal and a 2" teardrop hung together with brass wires. All matching 24 crystals are removed and individually wrapped for shipping and so will have to be hung once the sconces are mounted. These sconces are in very good condition with some wear and tarnish commensurate with age and use - see photos for details. Clean and ready to hang. Lovely wall accents during the day and an additional layer to your lighting scheme using traditional or electric candles at night.
