Pair Reticulated Blanc de Chine White Porcelain Lamps Cherry Blossom Japan

Pair of vintage 1960s, reticulated Blanc de Chine jar Lamps with cherry branches and blossom pattern and black lacquered wood top lid and base. These lamps with white porcelain jar bodies from China were imported and assembled into lamps in Japan. One base still bears the original SEYI China sticker. The black phenolic 3-way sockets and clear electrical chord and plug are new (original Japanese sockets with pull chains had corrosion and the wire coverings were torn). All other parts of these lamps are original, including the harp and finial. Each lamp measures 25 1/2" to the tops of the finials (base alone is 14 1/2" high) and the bases measure 6 1/2" in diameter. In very good condition, with no cracks, chips crazing to the porcelain, some patina to the top and base wood parts, some tarnishing on the harp and finial. Both lamps are working with new wiring, as mentioned. Fully cleaned inside and out. Shades and bulbs not included. A beautiful, timeless pair of lamps for an elegant touch to a room and suitable for both traditional and modern interiors due to its classical Asian style.
