Pair Vintage French Rococo Style 2 Arm Brass Candle Wall Sconces Regency

Pair of heavy, vintage French Rococo-style, 2 candle, cast brass wall sconces. These polished and matte brass sconces have been carefully made with high resolution detailing in the cast sections. The top swirl in the metal is open to serve as a hanging hook. Each sconce weighs 3 lbs 7oz. (1.5kg), requiring a secure hook or screw for hanging. Each of them measure 16 3/4" (42.4cm) high, 14 1/2" (36.7cm) wide and 5" (12.5cm) deep (to the tip of the candle bobeches or candle rings). The candle sockets measure 7/8" (2.1cm) across to fit standard taper or dinner candles. These two sconces are complements of each other - each one has arms that extend slightly higher on one side and lower on the other - so when paired next to each other, create a symmetrical pair although each one is asymmetrical alone. In very good condition with some wear and tarnish commensurate with age and use - see photos for details. Clean and ready to hang. Lovely wall accents during the day and an additional layer to your lighting scheme using traditional or electric candles at night.
