Pair Vintage ITALIAN TOLE Palm Tree Topiary 1970s Hollywood Regency

Pair of vintage 1970s, Italian tole palm tree table top topiaries. These Hollywood Regency style decor accents measure 10" (25.4cm) high and about 4 1/2" (11.5cm) in diameter at the widest points. These small but highly detailed pieces are made of solid metal and weigh about 2 lbs (850g) each and have been very carefully hand painted to reveal realistic details in the trunks and leaves of the tree. In addition, each tree also varies slightly in the placement of the palm fronds to make them as realistic as possible. Real quartz pebbles used in pots and gold wash on the lion head pot handle and feet details. This pair is in very good condition with only slight wear showing on the feet where some of the gold wash has rubbed off - see photos for details.  A stunning little set sure to bring a smile to a table top, shelf or mantle.
