Pair Vintage Italian Tole Pear Fruit Leaves In Urns Candle Sconces

Pair of  1950s vintage Italian tole 2-candle sconces with pear tree topiaries growing from fluted, stylized urns. These charming sconces measure 18" (45.7cm) high, 11" (28cm) side and 7 1/2" (19cm) deep and the candle sockets measure 7/8" (2.3cm) in diameter which make them suitable for standard taper candles. In good condition, with distressing and patina from age. The nicely executed hand painting of these sconces and the muted, yellow, ivory, green and teal paint give these sconces their organic feel. The very natural, random placement of leaves and fruit add to the look. A hanging hook is integrated into the curling branches at the top of each sconce. Marked "Italy" in red paint on the bottom of each urn. A lovely set as wall decor or to use with real or electric candles to add a glow to any indoor or outdoor space.
