Pair Vintage Panther Jaguar Leopard Cats Bookends crackle brass black plinth

Pair of vintage 1980s Panther or Jaguar Bookends. These bookends have a cast and polished brass "rock" brass over which the "cats", finished with a black with white crackle paint and gold eyes, slink down and over the matte black classical plinth. These bookends measure 10.5" high from base to tip of tail and are 3 7/8" wide and 5" deep. In excellent condition, clean and ready to use. A striking set for any bookshelf, desk or table and large enough to hold standard books. A nice addition to a maximalist interior, a traditional masculine space or sleek modern decor.
