The base measures 1 3/8" in diameter. This heavy vase weighs 11.2 oz. This charming bud vase is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, scratches. Makes a fabulous gift or adds a sparkling accent to any table, shelf or tray with a small sprig.

Notes on Selkirk Glass: Selkirk Glass was set up by Peter Holmes with Ron Hutchinson in 1977, after Holmes had apprenticed and worked at Caithness Glass. During his time there, Holmes started to add odd things to his glass paperweights and moved on to develop his own abstract designs in glass, a non-traditional style which proved to be very successful. He further developed his style and designs with Selkirk and left to start his own studio, Scottish Borders Art Glass in 2002. In 2004, Selkirk Art Glass was acquired by Caledonian Investments along with Caithness Glass. After consolidation, Selkirk was closed in 2006.
