Varages Vieux Provence Soup Bowl (Replacement)

One, Varages Vieux Provence pattern Soup Bowl. This classic country french style Varages pattern has a green and blue fantasy bird in the center, surrounded by butterflies and flowering foliage on a white ground with scalloped green rim. Made in France, this bowl measures 9 3/8" in diameter from edge to edge and stands 1 3/4" high. It is in very good condition, though it has a small mark on the front just below the bird, which could be a flaw in the original glaze and there are two very small and shallow chips on the bottom rim where the bowl sits on the table - see photos for details. Otherwise the bowl has a smooth finish and no chips/cracks on its flanged rim. Nice replacement piece for a set or extra to keep on hand.
