Vintage Antique Large Gilt Tole Candle Sconce Italy Acanthus Leaves

Single, vintage, gilt metal Italian 3-candle wall sconce with acanthus leaves, stems and blooms (or leaf clusters). This 1960s, asymmetrical, hand wrought and gilded sconce measures 23" (58.2cm) high, 16" (40.5cm) wide and 8.5" (21.5cm) deep. The candle sockets, with beboches in 8 petal flower shape, measure approx. 7/8" (2.1cm) across to fit standard taper or dinner candles. Includes an integrated hanging hook as shown in photos as well as original "Made in Italy" metal tag. In very good condition with some wear and patina commensurate with age. Clean and ready to hang. A lovely wall accent during the day and an additional layer to your lighting scheme using traditional or electric candles at night.
