Vintage Art Deco Silverplate Cigarette Box Wood Lined Footed Rogers Oneida desk

Vintage, Art Deco style, silverplate, footed, wood lined Cigarette Box by Rogers Silversmiths (now a part of Oneida). This elegant box measures 7 9/16" (9.2cm) wide, 3 1/2" (9cm) deep and 1 5/8" (7.2cm) high with the lid closed. Lid attached with hing that runs the almost the length of the box which keep the lid well fitted. The 2-compartment, wood inside liner slides out for cleaning. Smooth, unadorned, flat sides and lid and stacked feet create a modern flavor. The exterior and wood liner are in good vintage condition. The inside of the lid has some tarnishing near the hinge along the back but is other wise smooth with little wear. See photos for details on condition and finish. Partial Wm. A. Rogers by Oneida Silversmiths sticker still on bottom. Clean and ready to use. A very handsome box as a cigarette case, use on a table or shelf for trinkets, playing cards, jewelry, keys or on a desk for paperclips, etc.
