Vintage French Rococo Style 2 Arm Brass Candle Wall Sconce Regency

A single, heavy, vintage French Rococo-style, 2 candle, cast brass wall sconce. This polished and matte brass sconce has been carefully made with high resolution detailing in the cast sections. The top swirl in the metal is open to serve as a hanging hook. The sconce weighs 3 lbs 7oz. (1.5kg), requiring a secure hook or screw for hanging. It measures 16 3/4" (42.4cm) high, 14 1/2" (36.7cm) wide and 5" (12.5cm) deep (to the tip of the candle bobeche or candle ring). The candle sockets measure 7/8" (2.1cm) across to fit standard taper or dinner candles. This sconce has arms that extend slightly higher on one side and lower on the other - making it asymmetrical. In very good condition with some wear and tarnish commensurate with age and use - see photos for details. Clean and ready to hang. A lovely wall accent during the day and an additional layer to your lighting scheme using traditional or electric candles at night.
