Vintage handmade nut wood cigarette Box

Vintage 1930s, handmade, rectangular nut wood box with wood lid and turned wood knob-style handle. Simple and clean design with nice workmanship. The box measures 6 1/2" long by 3 5/8" wide and 1 1/2" high (not including the knob). The knob is 1 1/2" high (makes the box 3" high overall). The 3 1/2" by 3" interior of the box is shallow and squared off on the sides and curved on the ends to make taking items out of the box easy. Probably an old cigarette box. Excellent vintage condition with smooth surfaces and only light wear on the matte finish. A handsome trinket box for a desk, shelf or bed side table in a design that suits both modern and traditional decor.
