Vintage MCM Scalloped International Silver Plate Serving Charger Tray Cheese 70s

Vintage 1970s, mid century modern silver plate tray or charger with scalloped edges made by International Silver. This elegant tray measures 12" in diameter, 7/8" high and has an indented center section that measures 8" across. This tray was originally designed for serving cocktails and appetizers and accommodates the classic 7 1/2" diameter wood cheese boards with glass domes or cloches of the period (many can be found on ebay). The pairing with this silver tray elevated the cheese service for more formal occasions. This tray is in very good vintage condition with some surface scratches and tarnish - see photos for details. An elegant and versatile serving piece or suitable for shelf and table styling.
