Vintage Nentwig Zinn pewter May Pole figurine

Vintage, Nentwig Zinn enamel painted pewter figurine of a decorated Maypole with celebrating dancers in traditional German costume. This 6" (15cm) tall and 2"(5cm) wide cast pewter figurine is designed to either stand or be hung by an integrated loop at the top. This figure was made by Nentwig-Relief Amberg, a small concern that primarily produces relief copper pictures and murals but, along with Kuhn Zinn, produces much of the cast pewter collectibles made in Bavaria. The ornament is in excellent condition and is full of intricate detail in both the molded metal as well as painted enamel work. The back is unpainted and carries the Nentwig Zinn label on bottom of base. A lovely piece with charming and intricate molded and painted details. Great addition to a collection, as a nice touch on a special (wedding?) gift or to expand a Christmas or Easter display.
