Vintage Pair Crosstitch Needlepoint Colonial Military Soldiers Pictures Framed

Vintage, mid century, pair of completed cross stitch pictures of American Continental Army soldiers matted and framed in excellent condition. These two motifs came from an original Paragon Needlecraft mid-century cross stitch kit called "Continental Soldiers" that originally contained designs of these soldiers on 100% raw linen fabric with high quality "Peri Lusta" brand embroidery thread. These completed ones were cleaned, pressed and stretched then matted and framed under glass in simple, black painted wood frames with acid free matting. Fully framed pictures measure 21" (53.3 cm) tall by 11" (28 cm) wide by 3/4" (1.9 cm) deep. The needlework iteself inside the mat measures 15 5/8" (39.7 cm) by 6" (15.3 cm).
