Vintage Rolex Bucherer Interlaken Souvenir Spoon Silverplate Mountain Scene

Vintage, Silverplate Rolex Bucherer Watches Collectible Gift or Souvenir Spoon, Interlaken model. Bucherer, a jewelry retailer in Switzerland which had 8 locations, first produced such demitasse spoons at its Lucerne , Switzerland store. These were gifted with the purchase of a Rolex watch from Bucherer and emblazoned with the city name of the store where the watch was purchased. These spoons were never sold separately. This spoon is marked Interlaken on the stem, and Rolex (crown) and Bucherer Watches (tree) on the top of the handle, with the spoon bowl engraved with a mountain panorama. Marked B 100 12 on the back, indicating that the spoon 100 grams of silver was used to plate 12 items, with each getting 8.33 g of silver. In very good condition, see photos. A good piece for a collection or to actually use as a demitasse spoon for a whimsical touch to an espresso cup.
