Vintage Southwestern Moss Agate on Sterling Silver Pendant and Chain Necklace

Vintage 1980s, Southwestern Moss Agate Necklace with sterling silver Pendant and Chain. The pendant has an untreated, polished, irregular-shaped, gray and blue-colored moss agate held in place by a sterling back and bezel surrounded with a rope twist border. Moss Agate is found in the Yellowstone River and its tributaries in Montana and this necklace was purchased as a souvenir of a trip to the area. The pendant measures 1 1/2" high (including the thick hanging loop) and 7/8" wide. The chain is 18" long and 7/8" wide with a spring loop closure. Both the pendant and chain are marked "925". The chain is also marked "Italy". This necklace is in excellent condition, with no wear markings, kept is storage for years - see photos for details. A handsome necklace for someone who appreciates nature and a casual lifestyle. Makes a nice gift!
