Vintage Studio Pottery Multimedia Glazed Ceramic Bud Vase Laced Detail Handmade

Vintage, mid century, hand-thrown ceramic vase with twine-laced detail at the neck in a plum and white colored mottled glaze. This charming bud vase measures 6" high and is 3 1/8" wide at its widest point and 1 3/4" diameter top lip and 2" bottom. The "laced" detail is a 1 1/2" row of parallel vertical holes through which a brown twine finished with 5/8" raw clay balls is laced. The interesting mottled plum on white glazing has a matt finish and extends into the top opening. A lovely accent item on its own or with a few fresh or dried stems.
