Vintage Turned Carved Wood Wine Bottle Coaster MCM 1960s hand made

Vintage, hand made, turned wood Wine Bottle Coaster with a mid century modern design. This coaster has 3 filled holes on the back from the fitting of the lathe that turned the piece and is signed "by Romey for Sigrid & Ron June 18, 1968".  Likely a wedding gift, the coaster measures 6" in diameter and 1 1/2" high. It is made of an unstained, medium brown, nut wood wood with a fine grain, perhaps walnut. Matte finish of some kind of danish or tung oil. In very good condition. A lovely table accessory to use for serving wine or use as a catchall on a hall or coffee table, giving an organic touch.
