Excellent vintage condition, women's boiled wool jacket in plum/purple color with embroidery detail on seams, cuffs, collar and pocket edges. Made in Austria by Strickmeister, old line maker of wool garments and traditional Austrian clothing. This jacket is made in the traditional Austrian fitted style including standup collar, winged lapels, traditional silver filigree buttons and chain loop at back neck for hanging. Front patch pockets on left and right. USA size 10, EUR size 40. Measurements as follows: chest (armpit to armpit) = 21 inches, shoulder width (in back) from top of shoulder to top of shoulder = 18 inches, Sleeve length (from top of shoulder) = 23 inches, length (from bottom of collar to bottom hem in back) = 23 inches. Recently dry cleaned. See photos for details on condition. Perfect for cool weather all year around. Appropriate for casual and sharp enough to wear with a skirt or dress.
