Vtg Eldon MCM Black Plastic MOD Office Desk PEN HOLDER Organizer Make Up Caddy

Vintage 1980, Eldon black plastic Desk Organizer / Caddy. This mod design with rounded corners and slanted edges, typical of the period, emulates a cluster of boxes of varying dimensions to hold pens, pencils, scissors, paper clips and other miscellaneous items for office paper work. This caddy measures 5" deep, 5.5"wide and 9.5" at its tallest point. Made of hard molded plastic that bears the Eldon mark on the bottom. Eldon Office Products, known for its quality office products were made in the USA for commercial use by Eldon Industries, which later became a part of Newell and the Newell Rubbermaid after the companies merged. The Eldon brand is still active today, serving both the commercial and home office markets through distributors and retail office suppliers. This fun, mid century modern holder is in very good condition with no breaks, cracks or major scratches - see photos for details. A practical, well designed piece and attractive to serve as a desk or studio organizer or on a vanity for makeup /fashion accessories.
