Vtg Micro Mosaic Millefiori Double Heart Picture Frame Italy Floral Easel Back

Vintage micro-mosaic, adjoined double hearts-shaped picture frame in polished gold with easel stand. Pictures or photos measuring 1 1/4" (3cm) square can be easily changed by popping out the trays that fit snugly into the frames on the back. The lovely micro mosaic consists of tiny white petaled flowers with yellow centers (daisies?) and white-tipped green leaves surrounded with baby pink trim. The center medallion that joins the frames has a blue flower with a red and pink center. The hearts are trimmed in matching gold metal chording on the outside rims. The back is plain polished gold finish and includes a sturdy brace to hold the frames together as well as the hinged easel stand. This unusual frame is made in Italy (as shown embossed on reverse). The entire piece measures 3 3/4" (9.4cm) wide x 1 3/4" (4.3cm) high x 3/8" (8mm) deep. A lovely small
