Vtg Stylebuilt NY Gold Ormolu Waste Basket Trash Can Cover & Liner Shells

Vintage, Stylebuilt New York, gold plated metal Waste Basket / Trash Can Cover with original plastic Liner and Shell detail. This glamorous vanity waste basket is round with textured sides resembling beaten gold embellished with a collection of 3 scallop shells and a center trim band with small cutouts. The cylindrical can sits on 3 small, ornate feet that keep the bottom about 1" off the floor. Overall, this can measures 8 3/4" in diameter and is 10 3/8" high. This can is part of the Stylebuilt Shell collection that included tissue cover, toilet paper roll cover and a number of vanity top items. The metal cover is not marked but the original sticker is still on the inside of the liner. This can is still in good condition and is structurally strong. There is some gold loss on the sides of the can from exposure to humidity and the liner has one small chip and crack on the outside edge - see photos for details. An item that adds a hint of glamour to a vanity or powder bath!
