Vintage, Varages Oiseux Bleu/Blue Bird, Vieux Provence Pattern Dinner Plate in excellent condition. Made in France in the well-known faience earthenware production facilities in Varages, Haute Var department of southeastern France, an area famous for vineyards and pottery. Discontinued pattern. Charming blue and white hand painted bird motif with embossed rings and blue line trim around the outside. Measures 10 3/4" (27.5cm) in diameter. Ideal for existing collection and lovely as a platter to serve home made treats or as a gift.
