WENDY STEVENS Designer Stainless Steel Leather London Crossbody Bag Purse

Pre-owned, WENDY STEVENS Designer, stainless steel and black leather London Satchel Purse with Crossbody/shoulder strap and original dust bag. This striking bag measures 4 1/2" high, 4 7/8" wide and 1 1/2" deep. Top clip closure, hinged bottom and sides. The round stainless steel mesh crossbody or shoulder strap measures 26"long from the top of the bag to the top of the loop (hangs 26" down when it is held at the top of the metal strap). Strap easily removable using small steel expandable rings (much like key ring). Wendy Stevens, who started making her ubiquitous, metal bags in 1984, has exhibited her works in the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Smithsonian, the British Arts Council London and the Tassenmuseum in Amsterdam. She continues to produce bags of stainless steel with leather and metal components by hand in the company's production facility outside of Philadelphia. Her bags reflect her interest in urban materials and user-friendly, functional and long lasting pieces.
