Chocobo vinyl piggy bank Final Fantasy series figure promo Banpresto 1997 rare

On offer today is the rare Chocobo rubber piggy bank. This is official merchandise produced by Squaresoft (not Square Enix) in the late 1990s. As you can see in the photos, the figure is approximately 6 inches tall with a coin slot on the back of the head and a rubber stopper on the bottom to remove coins. 

There's no date on the figure but it looks to be a promotional item for 'Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon' which came out in 1997. This figure includes the figure and a paper label / tag.
