Kenshin Dragon Quest Japanese import plug & play TV game motion control sword

Up for grabs is the rare Kenshin Dragon Quest standalone plug-and-play TV game. This game is best remembered for introducing motion gameplay to the Dragon Quest series years before the Nintendo Wii had been conceived of. As you can see, I've set up the game and tested it. The sword itself doesn't require batteries; rather the receiver tracks the sword's highly reflective paint coating. The game works fine, though admittedly the motion detection isn't nearly as good or as sophisticated as what would come with later systems like the Wii or PS Move.

The main console can either run on AA batteries or on the special AC adapter, which is included (this was originally sold as a separate accessory and is likely hard to come by these days). This game comes with the game console, memory card, AC adapter, sword controller with Xavix lanyard (Xavix is the company who developed the game). This title is quickly becoming a collectors' item, so buy it now before it gets snapped up!
